Businessly is free. A small banner helps pay for that on Android — here is exactly where it appears and where it never does.
Businessly costs nothing, has no trial, and does not lock features behind a payment. A small advertising banner on Android is part of how that works.
Where the banner appears
A single banner sits in a band at the top, above the main screens. It also appears on a few individual screens: To collect, an installment plan's detail, the reminders settings, and the vehicles list.
It is deliberately not shown on a customer's statement. That screen is where you discuss money face to face with someone, and an advert there would be in the way.
There are no ads at all in the Windows version — not on any screen, ever. If ads bother you, the PC app is worth installing.
It may not be there at all
Whether the banner runs is controlled centrally and can be switched off without releasing a new version. So it is normal for it to appear one week and not the next, and normal for another shopkeeper to see it when you do not.
Some accounts are ad-free. That is set on the account rather than the device, so it follows you to a new phone when you sign in.
What the ads can and cannot see
The banner is served by Google AdMob. It does not get your ledger. Your customers, balances, cash entries and products stay in the app's own encrypted storage and are never handed to an advertiser.
