Installing Businessly
Businessly is free on Android and on Windows. It is the same app and the same book — install it on both if you want.
Businessly runs on two kinds of device, and you can use both at the same time with the same data.
On an Android phone
Search for Businessly on the Google Play Store, or open the Play Store listing directly.
It is free, and it works straight away — you do not need to sign in, and you do not need internet after the download.
On a Windows PC
Search for Businessly in the Microsoft Store, or open the Store listing.
Also free, and also works offline. The PC version is worth having if you do your accounts sitting down at the end of the day — a wide screen shows your list and the detail side by side.
Using both together
The two only share data if you sign in to the same account on each. Until then, each device keeps its own separate book.
- Install on whichever device you use most and start there.
- Sign in — with Google or with any email address.
- Install on the second device and sign in with the same account.
- Your entries appear on both, and stay in step from then on.

Keeping it up to date
Google Play updates the app on its own. Businessly also checks once a day and, when there is something newer, offers an Update button that installs it without leaving the app.
The Microsoft Store updates the app in the background. You can also check yourself from Settings → Check for updates, which opens the Store listing.
