Signing in on a PC

Email is the easy route on a computer. Google works too, but it takes a trip through your browser.

You only need to sign in on a PC if you want it to share a book with your phone. A standalone PC install works perfectly well offline.

Email is easiest

The code arrives in your inbox, which you are already reading on that computer.

  1. Sign in with email, type your address, and send the code.
  2. Open your email, copy the code.
  3. Paste it into Verification code and Verify & sign in.

No password, no phone needed, no app-switching.

Google works too

Sign in with Google on a PC opens your web browser to approve, then hands you back to Businessly.

If your browser does not open, or you close the tab before approving, nothing happens and you can simply try again.

Same email, same book

Signing in by email with the same address as your Google account puts you in the same book. Nothing is duplicated, and it does not matter which method you used on which device.

Google Drive backup

If the PC already has entries

Same as on a phone: Businessly asks whether to keep the book already on this computer or use the one in your account. It never silently replaces your entries.

Signing out

SettingsSign out. The data stays on the PC. Signing back in brings the cloud copy down again.
