Reminders & notifications
A daily nudge about what is due, in words you choose. Phone only — and this page is honest about what happens if you try it on a PC.
Reminders do not work on a PC. This is the important thing on this page, because the app does not currently tell you.
On Windows the whole screen works: Turn on reminders switches on, the Reminder time saves, every category toggles, and Send a test reminder now even reports that a test was sent. No notification will ever appear.
Notifications are a phone feature. Use them on your Android phone; on the PC, check To collect and Bills & rent yourself.
What it does on a phone
Reminders — Get notified about dues — works offline. When off it reads Off · tap to turn on.
Turn on reminders gives you A daily notification for what's due at a Reminder time you pick.

In your own words
Every category has an editable Message. Tokens like {name} and {amount} are filled in by the app — Tap to insert: puts one in for you.
There is a preview, and Reset to default if you would rather start again.
Testing it
Send a test reminder now fires one immediately so you can confirm notifications are getting through.
Muting for a month
Some months you know rent is late and do not want chasing. Mute a reminder and it shows Reminders muted this month — tap to resume. It returns next cycle on its own.
They cost nothing
Reminders are local notifications — created on the device. No internet, no SMS charges, and nothing is sent to anyone. Messages to customers are a separate thing: see WhatsApp message templates.
