The statement
One customer's whole history with you, with the running balance after every line — the screen you turn round and show them.
Tap any name and you get their statement: everything between you, newest at the top, with the balance after each entry.
This is the screen you hold up when someone disputes a figure. Every line says what it was, when, and what the balance became.
What you can do here
- Record a Sale or Payment without leaving the page
- Send a WhatsApp reminder with the amount already written
- Set a due date for when the udhaar should be cleared
- Lend to {name} or Borrow from {name} — see Loans
- Export the statement for a date range as a PDF
Due dates
The ⋮ menu has Set due date. Once set, an overdue balance is flagged, and the customer can be included in the monthly reminders. Remove due date appears once there is one to remove.
The Plans tab
Most customers just have a statement. If someone has an installment plan or a rental with you, a second tab appears — Statement and Plans & rentals — so their monthly commitments are in one place instead of scattered through the history.
Sending a reminder
The WhatsApp button fills in the amount and a polite message for you.
WhatsApp opens directly, with the message ready to send.
Your browser opens WhatsApp Web. Sign in there once and it works the same afterwards.
You can reword the message once, for everyone, under Message templates.
Sharing the figures
The share icon exports this customer's statement for a date range as a PDF — handy when someone wants a copy for their own records.
